Hi! I titled my blog Queen of Crop because for years I “cropped” myself out of so many photos because of my weight! I had been heavy all my life and in 2011 at age 58 I had weight loss surgery (the vertical sleeve). It changed my life.

I am now in my 60s and living my dream life. If someone had told me the best years of my life would be now I would have thought they were crazy. But it is never too late to get your weight and health under control, and to create the life you have always dreamed about.

I wrote my blog every Sunday for the first year after surgery, then stopped for about two years. But I decided I wanted to inspire people to create the life they want, so I started writing again. Click About to learn more about me and decide where you want to start reading.
